Appointment reminders don't appear
You have setup a reminder for an appointment, but you don't receive a notification
If you have configured a reminder for an appointment in the appointment screen or in another app or website, you should receive a notification prior to your appointment.
OneCalendar only supports notifications as popups in the lower right corner of your screen. If you have configured other (e.g. email) reminders for your calendar on your calendar website, your might get a reminder from your calendar provider.
The popup stays on your screen until your device gets locked or enters sleep mode. In this case, the notification will appear in the Action Center, which you can enter by clicking the button in the red ellipse.
In Windows, you can switch notifications on and off. In the Windows start menu, if you click Settings, the Windows Settings app is opened. Then click System, and then Notifications and Actions. In that screen please make sure the 'Get notifications from apps and other senders' is set to on.
Scroll down in that screen and click OneCalendar.
Ensure that the settings in the next screen are set to your preferences.
In Windows, there are settings that help you from focusing on your job at hand. They can block notifications from apps. In the Windows start menu, if you click Settings, the Windows Settings app is opened. Then click System, and then Focus Assist. If Focus Assist is set to off, you will receive all notifications. You can modify the settings to match your preferences.
If you receive notifications, but you don't see them on the lock screen, there's probably a setting wrong in Windows. In the Windows start menu, if you click Settings, the Windows Settings app is opened. Then click System, and then NOtifications & Actions. Make sure 'Show notifications on the lock screen' is turned on.
After this, scroll down and click OneCalendar. Make sure the 'Keep notifications private on the lock screen' option is switched off.
If your appointment is created for a different timezone than the one set on your device, a notification might appear at another time than you expect. Please check this page for configuring timezones.
During testing of OneCalendar we often expect to get a notification, but then realize the appointment isn't set for the current day, but for a week earlier for example. This can be very misleading.
